Adventure bathing lake

About five walking minutes from our house is the adventure bathing lake Uttendorf. From a water slide up to the floating iceberg, the lake offers fun and excitement distributed to 50,000 square meters of water.

Sports facilities

Right next to the lake, there are some sports facilities such as tennis, volleyball, football, and a skate park.

Boulder park

Is also located on the lake and with twelve blocks of granite of different difficulty levels, it is ideal for beginners and experienced climbers. This requires no special equipment.

Kneip hydrotherapy resort

Only a few minutes away from our house is a beautifully designed Kneip resort located directly in Uttendorf. With water supply from the nearby village stream this resort promises refreshment on hot summer days.

Hiking

Uttendorf offers various hiking options, in the village there are small walking tours like the butterfly trail. Around the Weisssee glaciers, all hiking wishes can come true, from family walks up to the conquest of a 3000 peak.

Butterfly trail

The butterfly trail is located right next to the village stream, all the way up to the farms Unterstein and Stefflbauer, that’s where the idyllic journey begins with lots of information about the butterflies. Seating and picnic areas invite you to linger. Goal is the Celtic village at Stoanabichl, the hike can be continued to get to the Liebenberg.

Weißsee climbing

The area around the Weisssee invites not only for walking but is one of the most difficult climbing routes in Austria also the ideal starting point for climbers.

Celtic village at Stoanabichl

Experience a millennium ancient history! In 1962 a burial ground from the Hallstatt period was discovered on Stoanabichl in Uttendorf (750-600 BC.). Due to this, a village was built to reflect the lifestyle of the inhabitants at that time.

Panoramic street Stubachtal

An approximately 18-kilometer toll-free panoramic road winds through the Stubachtal, a paradise for cyclists and motorcyclists.

The name Stubach comes from the “pollinating water,” not surprising because countless waterfalls and lakes can be explored along the valley. Located at the end of the street are Enzingerboden and the Glacier cable car Weißsee.

Tauern Cycle Path

Located on the Salzach and Saalach, this cycle path leads from Krimml to Salzburg and runs right past our house. Here you can explore the world of the Alps on flat ground, therefore it is ideally suited for children.
